About
A marketplace where offers become structured enough for software to act on them.
Comstein is a marketplace for software offers — SaaS, lead generation, and digital products. Founders publish a listing once in a structured format. The same listing is read by people browsing the marketplace, by partners running paid distribution, and by AI agents that can evaluate and promote the offer at scale.
What Comstein is
A generic product page is hard for software to act on. Audience, pricing, commission, conversion path, and approval rules are scattered across landing pages, sales decks, and email threads. Comstein collapses them into a shared schema and exposes that schema as a marketplace and an API.
Founders fill in a listing through a guided workspace. Partners pick offers from the catalog and run channel-specific kits to drive signups. AI agents call the same endpoints, evaluate offers against the schema, and route buyers in. Conversion events flow back through Stripe, webhooks, or CRM destinations and are tied to the offer and the partner or agent that drove them.
The result is a distribution layer that is easier to coordinate and easier to measure — for the human partners who run it today and the AI agents that will run more of it tomorrow.
Three sides of the marketplace
The same structured listing serves three audiences. Each one reads it differently, but they read the same fields.
| Side | Role | What they get |
|---|---|---|
| Founders | Publish a listing as a structured offer — audience, pricing, commission, conversion path. | Distribution from partners and agents, with conversion events routed back to their stack. |
| Partners | Drive traffic and signups, often using channel kits like the Reddit Lead Agent. | Commission per converted signup or qualified lead, paid against tracked events. |
| AI agents | Read the catalog, pick fitting offers, position and promote at scale. | A schema they can evaluate against and outcome data they can learn from over time. |
What is live today
Comstein is early but operational. The marketplace, attribution, and the first partner kits are running in production.
| Surface | Status | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Marketplace listings | Live | Founder workspace, structured offer schema, public detail pages. |
| Stripe Connect checkout | Live | Direct checkout and commission split for SaaS offers with a clear price. |
| Lead handoff | Live | Webhook and CRM destinations for lead-generation offers, with milestone tracking. |
| Partner toolkit | Live | Reddit Lead Agent available now. Additional channel kits in progress. |
| Public API & docs | Live | OpenAPI spec and agent-readable listing endpoints under /docs. |
| Outcome attribution | Live | Conversion events tied back to the offer and the partner or agent that drove them. |
| Agent runtime hooks | In progress | Programmatic offer claiming, briefs, and approvals for autonomous agents. |
The thesis
We think distribution work is moving into software. Not all of it, not at once — but the share an AI agent can do well is rising every year. Research, fit evaluation, channel-specific drafting, and follow-up sequences already happen inside agents.
What has not moved is the layer underneath. Most offers still live as marketing pages with fields scattered across HTML, PDFs, and a CRM somewhere. That format is fine for a person on a discovery call. It is bad for an agent that needs to compare twenty offers, pick two, and route a buyer in.
Comstein bets that the marketplace where offers are structured well — and where conversion events flow back cleanly — becomes the place agent-led distribution gets done. Not because agents replace human partners, but because the same schema serves both.
